UNESCO INTERNATIONAL ARTS EDUCATION WEEK: ART TEACHERS VIRTUAL EXHIBITION

Call for art works: PARTICIPATE in the NIGERIAN ART TEACHERS VIRTUAL ART EXHIBITION to commemorate the 2014 UNESCO International Arts Education Week. To Art teachers, Following the success of the 2nd World Conference on Arts Education (25-28 May 2010, Seoul,), the 4th week of May of every year has been proclaimed as International Arts Education Week by UNESCO’s General Conference at its 36th session. The main objective of the International Arts Education Week is to increase the international community’s awareness on the importance of arts education by showcasing concrete arts education projects and practices and reinforcing cooperation with main stakeholders of arts education. ART SCOUT is inviting the art teachers to celebrate the 3rd UNESCO International Arts Education Week in a VIRTUAL ART EXHIBITION which will run from Monday 19th through Sunday 25th of May, 2014. The theme for this year UNESCO International Arts Education Week is ART FOR PEACE. It is an online exhibition and requires no stress sending your work. Just attach photograph of your work based on the theme and send to this email address: artscoutafrica@gmail.com. Below are the guidelines for submission of works. GUILDLINES FOR SUBMISSION Submit art works in a moderate resolution to artscoutafrica@gmail.com Medium: Painting, drawing, mosaic, collage, mixed media etc Style: Any form of visual expression (Realism, Abstract etc) Theme: ART FOR PEACE.
